| An existing unit - M/s. Five Star Pharmaceuticals situated on the outskirts of Ahmedabad, was acquired by Saket Projects Limited as an ongoing concern.
At the time of acquisition, the unit had moderate facility on a plot admeasuring 1304 sq. mtrs., with construction on ground floor. The unit used to manufacture liquid, tablets and capsules on a moderate scale. |
| Saket Projects Limited, after acquisition, has undertaken an ambitious modernization-cum-expansion plan in 1997. as a part of this, the company has - |
- acquired ISO 9002 Certification
- added injectables, ointments and aerosol division
- expanded the capacity of tablet and capsule section
- added most sophisticated in-house Quality Control Laboratory quipped with state-of-art equipments like HPLC etc.
- has acquired Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Certificate

In nutshell, Five Star Pharmaceuticals (a division of Saket Projects Limited) is now a full-fledged pharmaceutical formulation unit capable of manufacturing entire range of formulations. In fact, it is the first unit in SSI sector to have Aerosol Unit ! |
